400;\">Aproximadamente 15 km norte de la catedral se encuentra la parroquia de Santa Mar\u00eda de Cesar. Limita con las parroquias compostelanas de O Carballal por el Sur y A Barciela por el Este, y con los Ayuntamientos de O Pino y Oroso, al Este y Norte respectivamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Su demarcaci\u00f3n territorial es desde\u00a0 1962 el Ayuntamiento de Santiago. Anteriormente pertenec\u00eda al Ayuntamiento de Enfesta junto con las parroquias de San Xo\u00e1n de Fecha, Santa Cristina de Fecha, Grixoa, Verd\u00eda, Busto, Nemenzo, Marantes, Barciela, Enfesta, Carballal y Sabugueira.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En t\u00e9rminos religiosos pertenece al Arciprestazgo de Bama que comprende parte de los municipios de Boqueix\u00f3n, O Pino, Santiago y Touro. Est\u00e1 integrado por 9 parroquias matrices: Arca, Bama, Bando, Barciela, Budi\u00f1o, Castrofeito, Enfesta, Pereira y Sabugueira; y 4 filiales: Carballal, C\u00e9sar,Loureda y O Pino. El Arciprestazgo de Bama depende de la di\u00f3cesis de Santiago de Compostela. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=A_Iglesia_(Cesar)&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Formaba parte de la antigua provincia de Santiago, en la que era iglesia principal del se\u00f1or\u00edo de los condes de Altamira.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abarca una superficie de 6.53 km<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> con un per\u00edmetro de 12.26 km en los que encontramos las aldeas de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candelabeira, O Casal,\u00a0 As Casas de Arriba, O Castro, A Igrexa, A Pousada, A Torre y Tras Vea<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El campo de la fiesta tiene 12.419m<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con una altitud media de 200 m y 260 m sobre el nivel del mar, riega su t\u00e9rmino el r\u00edo Tambre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cesar cuenta con un total de 147 habitantes, 78 mujeres y 69 hombres seg\u00fan datos del INE en el a\u00f1o 2021, afincados principalmente en la aldea de Tras Vea siendo la m\u00e1s despoblada Torre de Cesar con un \u00fanico habitante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Su acceso es a trav\u00e9s de carreteras comarcales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Distancias desde\u00a0 Santa Mar\u00eda de Cesar a la Catedral:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coche:<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">18,2 Kms &#8211; La puerta est\u00e1 adintelada y sobre ella se encuentra una peque\u00f1a ventana con moldura de orejera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Cruceiro de la iglesia \u00a0 localizado en las cercan\u00edas pero fuera del recinto murado de la iglesia, es de tipo de crucifijo con cuatro gradas.\u00a0 Presenta un fuste octogonal con interesantes tallas de Cristo y de la Virgen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El patrimonio civil es etnogr\u00e1fico y representativo del pasado cultural de la zona. Se concentra en la presencia del Castro do Casal y las M\u00e1moas, todo ello perteneciente a la Edad del Metal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Castro do Casal datado de la Edad de Bronce se compone de un \u00fanico recinto de forma oval de peque\u00f1as dimensiones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delimitado por tres de sus caras (oeste, norte y sur) por un terrapl\u00e9n sencillo de tierra precedido de un hoyo, presenta un muro de cuidada mamposter\u00eda cuya altura m\u00e1xima alcanzaba en alg\u00fan punto los 2,5 metros de altura. El lado sur, m\u00e1s vulnerable, cuenta con defensas m\u00e1s fuertes. Un parapeto con gran desarrollo en altura. El acceso, situado en el lado sureste, se proteg\u00eda con el terrapl\u00e9n este.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sus dimensiones abarcan entre 80 m y 112 m.\u00a0 Actualmente ha sido afectado por una pista de concentraci\u00f3n parcelaria que desmantel\u00f3 parte de su estructura en la orilla sur, adem\u00e1s de\u00a0 por el desarrollo del n\u00facleo rural en el que se emplaza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las M\u00e1moas Tras da Auga y M\u00e1moas da Pedreira son monumentos de tipo funerario de \u00e9poca prehist\u00f3rica, normalmente datadas
